Shipping and Returns

All items subject to prior sale. Our merchant processor may charge the buyer for sales tax that is applicable to your state or locale. Shipping by USPS is preferred and shipping by FedEx and UPS is available. Heavier items may incur an additional shipping charge. Items valued at $100 and above are shipped Signature Required.

International shipping is available to most countries and the buyer is responsible for all duties, tariffs, taxes, or fees charged by the receiving country or shipping carrier. When practical, we ship USPS to international customers so that they do not incur the brokerage fees of other carriers. We state the correct type and value of the item(s) for customs purposes.

We will refund the item's price and shipping fees both ways if an item was misdescribed . For other returns we will refund the item's price, only. Any returned item must be the specific item originally shipped to you, in the same condition as originally shipped, insured for the full original value, and securely packed to ensure damage-free delivery to us.

As the principal of 20 Ants Fine Books, I began selling books in 1995 as a sideline in a co-owned antiques and modern design open shop and on CompuServe and Usenet in those early days of online bookselling. I formed 20 Ants Fine Books in 1998, selling online and by catalog. I maintain a stock of books I consider to be of merit and interest and focus on fine press books and examples of the book arts. As a long-time member of Independent Online Booksellers Association, I adhere to its Code of Ethics and strive for the best outcomes for collectors at all levels and institutions.
