McClure free messages on The Western Union Telegraph Company network, as long as they pertained to the business of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway. Printed signature of Norvin Green, president. McClure was the Western Passenger Agent for the railway. 4”x2.5” printed by the American Bank Note Company, New York. [glue remains verso as shown]
