Illustrated with color reproductions of watercolors by A. Baldinger and N. Samokish, depicting Cavalry Guards in historical uniform.

Condition: minor wear to binding; loss of most protective sheets (tracing paper).

Provenance: this copy bears the ex-libris and signature of a descendant of Admiral M. P. Lazarev, adding notable historical and collector value.
