Les Krims is an American conceptual photographer who in the 1960s and 1970s was known for his photographs of nude women posed in silly and what many considered humiliating situations. This wacky, surreal sensibility opened up the possibilities of photography to artists that followed, who included Krim’s student Cindy Sherman.
