We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, personal checks, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. California residents will be charged sales tax at the prevailing rate. New customers are requested to send payment with order. Libraries and other institutions will be billed. All prices are net, postage and insurance not included. All items are guaranteed as described. Any item may be returned within seven days of receipt provided notice is given immediately.  Please write if you wish to be on our mailing list for future catalogues. Let us know of your current interests so that we may give them special attention.

Additional Information

The Argonaut Book Shop was founded in 1941 in the middle of the financial district of San Francisco. The Argonaut was a founding member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America and has been a member in good standing ever since. The Shop is now located just three blocks from Union Square in downtown San Francisco and is open six days a week. Parking facilities include ample street space and a parking garage close by.
