1911-1913. --PHOTO ALBUM w/ (125) PHOTOS show South Dakota's BLACK HILLS & WESTERN MICHIGAN-- photos of Trojan Mining Co. in South Dakota; a family lodge and campsite in Western Wisconsin. Photo album has black alligator covers-- in very good condition, 7.25" x 10.75".

(125) PHOTOS are well-composed, clear and sharp, showing people of all ages in the early 1900s-- miners working in Dakota's Badlands; family & friends outside a Wisconsin lodge built 1902. There are some nice occupational portraits of miners, folks standing outdoors, homesteaders. Photo inscribed 'Deadwood Coach 1911' shows men on and in the coach, the horses being driven over rough road. There are several photos of a wagon actively pushed uphill, another of a wagon pushed to ford a stream. Images of Native Americans in Wisconsin. Several photos of family and friends outside their cabin lodge in western Michigan, inscribed Tamarack Logs and date of 1902 (for year built) at the cost of $1500. PHOTOS are glued to the page.
