The Italian German Cultural Institute, chartered 1954 (post WW2) is a non-profit cultural association that deals exclusively with German culture & language. It is a partner of the Goethe-Institute, Germany's most important cultural institution abroad. The Goethe-Institute certifies German language educators for schools at all levels.
This photo album may have been created by Freidel Brunner-Flossmann [his name is on rear pastedown] -- album, 9" x 10", celebrates likely the first Italian German Friendship Cultural Exchange held in Macerata in 1955. It features (120) excellent b&w photographs with hand drawn borders & flourishes and handwritten script. Photos depict the sights, scenes, and people during the Aug. 18-22, 1955, tour-- in excellent condition. Domestic s&h $15.
