Very good
Early trade card (c. 1830's) showing hotel in Boulogne Sur Mer in Northern France on the sea. Napoleon used this city to stage his planned invasion of England due to it's strategic position by the sea. The trade card shows the hotel and it's proximity to the sea with a ship moored directly accross from the hotel. The hotel was opposite the Custom House, the Steam Packet Station, the Passport Office and Coach Offices. Great imagery.
