Soldiers' Portable Camp Writing Case advertisment & envelope.  The black and white insert has several wrinkles where if has been folded. 4" x 4 5/8"  The envelope has the same image of a soldier sitting and writing a letter on the portable writing case.  The envelope is printed with blue ink and measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/8".  Both were produced by J. H. Whittemore & Co.,  Boston, Ma.
