Shipping and Returns

* All items offered subject to prior sale. Please call or email to reserve items.

* Any item may be returned for a refund within ten days of receipt, provided it is in condition sent. Please contact us to make return arrangements.

* Shipping and insurance will be billed at estimated actual cost, based on selected shipping method.

* Payment by check, VISA, Mastercard or PayPal in U.S. funds.

* Maine sales tax of 5.5% is required for shipments to Maine addresses.

* Institutions and established customers will be billed upon request.

* We are often able to offer extended payment terms to accommodate individual or institutional budgets.

Additional Information

ABOUT US:

Founded in 1989, Bickerstaff's Books, Maps &c. buys and sells fine books and maps. Our inventory focuses on books and maps of 18th and 19th century America. We specialize in books, maps and ephemera of or related to New England during the 18th century. This includes almanacs, sermons, newspapers and magazines, as well as maps and charts of the colonial and Revolutionary War periods. Early and interesting Maine imprints are also of particular interest. We also maintain a good inventory of nautical charts, primarily of the American coast between the years of 1700 and 1900.
