A lithograph 22 x 28" in black and green tint on thick tan-white paper. Printed by George Stinson in 1876 to celebrate the US Centennial in conjunction with the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia. Some age toning on the right edge and some light foxing else very good. Lady Liberty on a throne with a wreath in her hand and a head piece of stars. Below her is an Eagle and a shield. 18 oval bust portraits of US Presidents from Washington to Grant and below 6 busts of Revolutionary war heroes. Lower corners show a battle scene and opposite are scenes of peace and prosperity. At the top is a view of the grounds of the exposition and insets of Independence Hall, Faneuil Hall and the Bunker hill Monument.
