St. Catherine's Hospital in Brooklyn was an historic hospital located at 133 Bushwick Avenue in Williamsburg. Founded in 1869 by the Dominican Sisters from Regensburg, Germany, who initially arrived in Brooklyn in the 1850s to serve the community, particularly German immigrants. The hospital also had an associated nursing school and nurses' residence, with the latter documented as early as 1928. By the early 20th century, it was a key part of Brooklyn's healthcare landscape, though it operated with limited resources, typical of hospitals of that era, which often provided basic care in challenging conditions.

The hospital is no longer in operation, and its buildings have been repurposed. For example, Jennings Hall, once a residence for St. Catherine’s Hospital, is now senior housing. The site holds historical significance, as documented by sources like the Brooklyn Public Library and Brooklyn Visual Heritage, which preserve images and records of the facility.
