Item Details

Wellesley, Mass., Denton Publishing Company, 1881

INSCRIBED in year of publication to Dr. E. A. Clarke, an early pioneer resident of San Jose, CA. Small 8vo. 193 pp; 1 page publisher's advertising at rear. Publisher's green cloth with gilt lettering; brown endpapers. Light wear to extremities; slight wear to spine ends; a near fine copy.

The book explores the theories of Charles Darwin regarding the origin of man and questions their accuracy.
