6 3/4 " x 10 1/4". Hand-colored lithograph. From John James Audubon's "The Quadrupeds of North America" published in New York between 1849 and 1854. Audubon and his son, John Woodhouse, drew all of the quadrupeds in the work. Victor Gifford Audubon drew the backgrounds for many of the prints. Light stain to lower right corner & line mark across upper edge (image not affected); else near fine.
