Tucker Motors Stock Certificate and 4 photographs of the Tucker Car. One of Americas true success and failure stories. The Tucker Automobile featured many innovations in automotive construction and operation. Thus, it posed a problems to the rest of the industry of the time and hence the company and the founder was financially, legally and publicity assaulted by many with a potential economic loss.
The company was formed July 8, 1948 by Preston Tucker and closed March 3, 1949. Only 51 Tucker Automobiles were ever built, However in testimony to their quality 47 still survive.
The stock certificate is quite rare and combined with the photographs opf the car represents a true find for the Tucker Motors collector, or the collector of automobile memorabilia.
