1938
Small photo collection, most annotated, depicting cotton picking and other activities at the Boone farm in Florida in 1938. Included are four photos with 3 Black Americans—Uncle Jack and two children picking and weighing in the cotton, also with white children and family in three of the photos. There are two photos of the white children in other activities—horseback riding and on a boat, one photo of the Boone’s city home in Chipley, Florida, and three with the family cats (one named Duke). Photos are small, about 4” x 2 ¾” in size. Very good condition overall.
