Scarce signed 1886 pamphlet of a speech presented by Burton Willis Potter delivered at Grafton on May 31st, 1996. The speech espouses benefits of the American Civil War, including thoughts on abolition of slavery and pro-education. Potter was a Civil War veteran himself who later became president of the Worcester Society of Antiquity. Scarce, only 3 copies found on Worthpoint at Duke and the American Antiquarian Society.

Presented by the author to “G W Reynolds”. In good condition with fold mark across center and moderate wear, with spine splitting a few inches at top and bottom. See also my other Civil War items.
