This is a fun and attractive postcard set with the words and depicting the events of Paul Revere’s Ride as penned by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The set of 10 cards is complete and starts at 9:30 on the border clock with an old man with children talking to his grandchildren, to the North Church Tower at 11:30, into the saddle at 11:45, galloping into Lexington at 01:00, passing through the Concord Bridge at 02:00, and actually engaging the redcoats the next day.
All cards are unposted and in near fine condition with just a little age toning to back sides.
