Queen Bess Corset:

Front & Back depictions of the Queen Bess Corset as modeled by fashionable Auburn Blonde and Brunette Victorian ladies adorned in puffy ruffs and frills, exaggerated ruffle queen lace collars.

"To the Ladies:  We can confidently recommend this Supporter as far superior to anything of the kind in the market for the following reasons:
FIRST.  It is a perfect fitting Corset, cut short on the hips to avoid pressure; high in back to give support to the shoulders;
boned sufficiently heavy to support the body; combined with Shoulder Straps, and a Bustle sufficiently heavy to support the clothing....

THIRD. The Bustle is a handsome roll.... FIFTH. It is made of heavy, durable Satin Jean, with fine Steel Clasps .... etc.
"For Sale by John Wanamaker, Grand Depot, City Hall Square, Philadelphia, Pa."

The Improved Bon-Ton Corset:

Front & Back depictions of the Corset via a mirror design; pretty young blonde house servant pulls the strings; labeled corset box on the bureau.
"To the Ladies ... best fitting and most stylish Corsets ever yet produced.... 'CLOTH-BUSK PROTECTORS' ... PATENT 'LOCK CLASPS' ... to prevent the steels from unfastening
"For Sale by E.B Whiting & Co., New Bedford, Mass."
