This trade card advertises daily performances of the kangaroo boxer Sullivan at the Folies-Bergere in Paris.

The front features a great image of a boxing match between the kangaroo and a man.

Informative text on the reverse explains that this three-year-old kangaroo was captured on the Murray River in Australia and immediately brought to England.  He performed in various venues, including the Royal Aquarium.  There is another boxing vignette on the reverse.

4" x 6" - printed on card stock by F. Appel of Paris.  Very good condition - please note light scrapbook residue on the reverse (exaggerated in intensity by the scanner).
