This collection consists of 200 plus letters and conference correspondence to Stone from Scholars during the 60's - 80's..Including James Merwether, William McNeil Reed and Joseph Blotner, all Faulkner friends and experts. It includes a copy of Max von Falk's THE BLACK NIGHTS OF HELL (Faulkner's step-son). Manuscripts of Mister Bill's Boys and other addresses. Magazines which featured Faulkner including Dixie. This is a large group of materials which demonstrate the affection the literary world held for William Faulkner. Additional postage will be required due to the size of the collection.
