This is an 18 page memoir of Col. Thomas Cresap described as pioneer, farmer, surveyor, trader, Indian fighter, Member House of Burgesses, Colonel of the Provincials, 1730-1770; Member of the Committee of Safety, and Commander of the Sons of Liberty, the first Troops organized for the Revolutionary War. He was friends of the Washington family. This is a separate as it was originally published in the Ohio Archaeological and Historical Society Quarterly, Vol. X No. 3, 1901
