Louisville, Ky, Kentucky State Historical Society, 1911, printed wraps
1st, very good
"This historical account of the 'Chenoweth Massacre' near Louisville, in 1789 was read by its author, Mr. Alfred Pirtle of Louisville.....in October of 1911. It describes the activities of Lt. Col George Rogers Clark and the opening up of the Kentucky territory. Native American uprisings were commonplace and vividly described. This is a 59 page pamphlet which was submitted to the Library of Congress for copyright and then discarded. It appears to be rather scarce with no originals currently offered online.
