BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
Extensive and personal archive documenting fan culture around Bruce Springsteen from the early 1980s through the 1990s, with a rich mix of vinyl singles, fanzines, clippings, and misc. ephemera. Highlights include a photo album from a visit to Asbury Park, August 4–6, 1988, featuring original snapshots from a Springsteen concert; a near-complete early run of Backstreets magazine (including early, low-numbered issues); Point Blank issue 4 (a scarce UK fan publication); multiple issues of True Rockers Only; and an extensive run of The Fever: Bruce Springsteen Monthly — with some issues provided in photocopy. Also present are over 20 original 45 rpm records (many in picture sleeves), including titles such as “I’m Goin’ Down,” “Hungry Heart,” and “Janie, Don’t You Lose Heart,” with international and promo variants. Magazines, zines, tear sheets, and other ephemera document Springsteen’s evolving public image and performance career. A deeply layered and well-preserved collection offering rare material seldom available in bulk, ideal for institutional acquisition or serious collectors.
