Howells, Bermuda, March 27, 1911, inscribed in the author’s hand. A formal seated profile of the eminent American realist and editor of The Atlantic Monthly, holding his eyeglasses and pen. Minor edge wear, otherwise a clean and striking image of Howells in his later years.
