3 1/2 " x 7". Fine. First printing. This negative was produced in August of 1859. Following an exhibition at Vance's Gallery, San Francisco, in September of 1859, the majority of Weed's negatives were sold to E. Anthony & Co., New York, where the San Francisco and Yosemite series were issued on buff mounts in 1860. Several printings followed in 1861 through 1864.
