3.) 1851 draft on Palmer, Cook & Co. Bankers. Pays to John Caperton $100. Caperton was Sheriff John C. Hays deputy. Caperton signs as deputy.
4.) 1854 San Francisco coffee label.
5.) 1854 business letter to California Surveyor General John C. Hays from the State Treasury Department.
6.) 1851 Bond Coupon signed by Mayor John Geary that matures in 1855. (1" x 3")
