Very Fine.
Page, Bacon & Company of San Francisco was founded in June of 1850. Their building illustrated on their checks was one of the first fire-proof structures erected in the city. The printer, Josiah Lecount, arrived in San Francisco late in 1849 immediately opening a printing and lithography establishment.
