April 26 1869 San Francisco Excursion to Menlo Park from Depot of The San Jose Rail Road Company Depot corner of Twelfth and Market Streets at Nine Oclock A.M. punctually returning, will leave Menlo Park at 3 P.M.. Please present this circular to the Conductor on the car. Three committee members listed at lower D.W. Connely , William Alvord , J.E. de la Montagnie. Circular measure 5 X 8 inches folder style, blank at the inside. This Excursion just before the meeting of the rails at Promontory Point Utah on May 10 1869 the completion of Transcontinental railroad, which this line would be very important for delivery of goods from the East. Menlo Park Depot build in 1867 and acquired by Southern Pacific Rail Road in 1890s.
