GILMORE, ARTHUR J was born 9 September 1909, entered the United States Army 2 February 1945, was released 25 October 1946, and died 1 August 1974.
Pvt. Gilmore served in the 2nd Regiment, Co. A and at Fort Knox Kentucky in March of 1945 and in Manila, Phillipines later in 1945.
The archive includes illustrated letters, envelopes and inserts to his wife, young son and father. There are about 50 pieces included in the collection.
