[Canmore, Alberta:, Dea Fischer, 2015, Sheer parchment covers, in a leporello binding.
First and only edition., Fine
5 1/8 x 7 3/4." Unpaginated. Sheer parchment. Drawings of branches in white, translucent, and red oil paint.
Leporello binding, with double-sided accordion-style pages. Signed and dated by the artist on the rear cover. A fine copy.
Unique artist's book: the only copy. The pages evoke a winter tree-line with a density of frost-rimed branches. The paper itself replicates the effect of an ice halo, and a single dot of red strikes the reader as a lone winterberry in deepest midwinter.
