Dear Sis - Today as now return from the Mission it was an enjoying (sic) trip. But cold and muddy. This morning it was a pretty poor morning for me. On account of my wounds last Sunday. But its better this afternoon. I am now with August my greatest chum. of Tulalip on boys side of Piles building I say a good by to this day it is going by and its the last day of Dec. Celebrate this way.

Children from the age of toddlers to high school, boys & girls, all appear to be instructed by one young woman. All wear forced integration hallmarks of Westernized clothing (boys in almost a uniform // girls in calico or muslin dresses) w/ shorn hair.

Sparse foxing w/ round corners. Rare evidence.
