First edition, limited to 487 numbered copies, of which this is the large paper presentation issue, one of only five such designated copies [#15] signed by both Jeffers (at the end of his introductory essay "Remembered Verses" on page xvi) and Alberts (on the front free endpaper) (See Broomfield Bi1c[2]). Marginally rubbed at the head and toe of the spine, else a fine copy in a near fine slipcase.
Alberts' bibliography was long considered the standard work on Jeffers until Broomfield's His Place for Story: Robinson Jeffers: A Descriptive Bibliography was published by Oak Knoll Press in 2015. This copy carries holograph ink and pencil notes and emendations to the various entries. Broomfield's bibliography would ultimately correct many of the errors made by Alberts in this earlier work.
