Provides bibliographic information on over 1,600 antique miniature books printed between 1690 and 1900, most of which are in the collections of the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, Massachusetts and the Lilly Library at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. It gives an overview of the development of the American book as reflected in its smallest examples as well as descriptions of more than 300 printers and publishers. In addition, a chronological list includes Bradbury numbers assigned to each title for reference purposes. The entire work is fully indexed by book titles, authors and publishers with more than 30 illustrations.
