The supplement by Danielle Jacquart is published under the direction of Guy Beaujouan. Among the most famous doctors: Arnauld de Villeneuve, Albert the Great, Petrus Hispanus, William of Conche, etc. A compendium on medicine in the Middle Ages. The author (1880-1965), a French physician, historian of medicine and librarian, directed the National and University Library of Strasbourg from 1919 to 1950.
