A set of twelve keepsake series pamphlets, issued in editions of seven hundred and fifty copies by various fine printing presses, and presented to members of The Book Club of California (Broomfield A34c[d2]). In this set, Part Six has been inscribed by Josephine Miles on the front cover "signed for Marlan Bielke / with the best wishes / of Josephine Miles. March, 1964," and also inscribed by printer James D. Hart on the rear cover: "To Marlan Bielke with / all good wishes, / James D. Hart / Sept. 1964." Part Eleven has been inscribed by Donald Weeks on the front cover: "For Marlan Bielke / Donald Weeks / April 1964." Number 12 has been inscribed on the rear cover by printer Ted Lilienthal: "Inscribed with nostalgia! / Ted Lilienthal." A near fine set in a rubbed, else very good blue cloth slipcase with a rounded morocco back.

The pamphlets are of approximately the same size, but differ substantially in paper and design. Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 12 are printed only in black, the others in at least two colors. No. 4 includes a sepia photograph of the author. Nos. 4 and 10 consist of one sheet folded once, No. 11 of two sheets folded once, tied with yellow string, the others of one sheet French-folded.
