Limited to 250 numbered copies privately printed by John Henry Nash. With the private bookplate of Bayard L. Kilgour, Jr. on the front pastedown of the vellum volumes. Spine of the prospectus is faded, else a near fine set with only a touch of spotting ot the Purgatorio volume.
Printed in Cloister Lightface Roman, with marginal notes in italic, on Van Gelder (with the Nash watermark) paper. Nash started printing this Masterpiece as early as 1923, but with the encouragement of his friend Aurelia Reinhardt, The President of Mills College, and the translation by Prof. Anderson of Stanford, things began to take shape in 1929.
