Two vintage silver prints, ca. 1954, one of Kenneth Patchen and one of his wife, Miriam Patchen. Each 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 " in size. The photographer's estate stamp and the name of the subject in ink on the reverse of each print. Kenneth Patchen (1911-1972) was an American poet and novelist. He experimented with different forms of writing and incorporated painting, drawing, and jazz music into his works, which have been compared with those of William Blake and Walt Whitman.
