San Francisco: The Universal Studies Forum, 1952. First edition. 28x22cm, mimeo'd rectos only, [1], 7, [1]ff. Stapled in printed wrappers, chipped around edges, pages toned and somewhat brittle. Very good.
Very interesting and apparently unrecorded lecture given by Manly P. Hall in San Francisco, and published by Ufologist, Robert Coe Gardner. It's a typically rambling essay from Hall on all things esoteric, but focuses on the writing and publishing of his own works up to that point. He mentions the the cost of publication for his first book was $145,000 and that "Crocker & Company got all of it."
The rear cover mentions the publication of another lecture "A Guide to Good Metaphysical Books" and other lectures by Hall available from Gardner. However, we have identified only a single sales result for another of these lectures in 2023, and we find no mention of any of them in OCLC.
