With large Ex-Libris with the coat of arms of Christoph Wenzel von Nostitz-Rockitnitz, As a bibliophile and art collector, he left behind a rich library and a valuable picture gallery at his Lobris Castle. He was born 1648 in Rokitnitz, Königgrätzer district; died 1712 at Lobris Castle, Hereditary Principality of Schweidnitz-Jauer) He was governor of the Silesian principalities of Wohlau, Glogau, and Schweidnitz-Jauer, as well as Imperial Privy Councilor. 

First Elzevirian edition of this work in Latin, with handwritten note on the flyleaf. Contemporary parchment binding, with handwritten title (contemporary) on the spine. Red edges. Beautiful typeface typical of this famous family of Dutch booksellers and publishers.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Orders usually ship within 2 business days [M-F]. We will provide tracking for all orders. Items shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Mail should arrive within 4-14 business days. We ship from Hawaii. Media Mail can take up to 14 - 20 days just to reach the West Coast by ship. Therefore we ship all smaller and regular sized items within the US by Priority Mail without additional cost to the customer. Oversized or heavy books might have to be shipped by Media Mail. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged), you're eligible to request a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
