"Real Estate Mortgages. Interest, 7% Semi-Annual Interest Guaranteed. Negotiated by Dakota Loan and Trust Company, of Pierre, Dakota", Chicago, Pettibone, Wells & Co, (ca 1880's), 7¾x5", 32 pages, double-sided folding map and three plates. Original red textured wrappers printed in gold, stapled.
Promotional pamphlet advertising mortgages sold by the Dakota Loan and Trust Company. The first half is devoted to information about the company, its glowing reputation, and excellent rates. The second half provides information about Dakota and reasons for desiring to settle there. The three illustrations show industrious and prosperous farmers at work. The map at the rear is entitled "Map of South Dakota and Norther Nebraska Showing Territory Occupied by Dakota Loan and Trust Company," while on the verso is a "Map of the Northern States" and depicts the upper Midwest. Two copies are located in OCLC, at Yale and Trinity College.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days [M-F]. We will provide tracking for all orders. Items shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Mail should arrive within 4-14 business days. We ship from Hawaii. Media Mail can take up to 14 - 20 days just to reach the West Coast by ship. Therefore we ship all smaller and regular sized items within the US by Priority Mail without additional cost to the customer. Oversized or heavy books might have to be shipped by Media Mail. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged), you're eligible to request a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
