Disbound set of three leaves including two printed sheet from the G.P. Putnam's Sons "Autograph Edition of Irving's Works". Light foxing and toning. Manuscript leaf tipped onto sheet; includes three manuscript lines. Good condition.

Manuscript leaf and preface material extracted from G.P. Putnam's Sons "Autograph Edition of Irving's Works" (not by us) from copy 131 of 500 sets. The manuscript reads: him suddenly, attacked him with his little troop of horse, routed his army, killed many of his warriors, and took him prisoner."
