30 volume set as published in parts. Except for one missing back wrapper, we believe this set to be complete, especially in regard to the photogravures. BUT, each volume is unbound with various faults throughout, such as nicked corners, small fore edge tears, soiling and toning to wrappers. Small chips come off each time I've looked through the set. Sold as is.  Fair condition only. 

Despite all the flaws in this physical set, the multitude of amazing photogravures, etchings and wood engravings by Thomas Moran, Frederick Remington, Thomas Hill, and others make this production a high point of western Americana.  A stunning achievement.

This is a very heavy set and will ship media mail at cost, which I would expect it to be $40 at minimum.
