Brown staple-bound yapp edged wrappers with laid down color print and embossed black and gold title. Very light soiling. Light edge wear. Interior is very clean and intact. Very Good Condition.
Uncommon and colorful Catalina Island viewbook from the early 1920's. Printed illustrations from hand-colored prints with legends beneath. We could only find holdings by UCLA and the Newberry Library.
Dates to the early 1920's. Text on last page refers to William Wrigley purchasing the island in 1919 and making Catalina into one of the most beautiful and delightful playgrounds in the world. From 1921 to 1951, Wrigley's Chicago Cubs called Catalina Island their spring training camp.
