From the English resume: “The art of the Artists’ magazines: Art Journaux is internationally the first exhibition which deals with the topic artists’ magazines in all their facets covering the artistic, graphical and thematic range of the medium. The Kasseler Kunstverein presents more the 350 artist’ magazines of the 20^th century. They originate from more than 25 countries, not only from the west but also from former communist countries like the GDR, Poland, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. The artists’ magazines are presented in an installation of greenhouses and showcases as well as spread out on the wall. Acoustic publications will be aired within the exhibition. In a special reading room, original selescted magazines are accessible for the visitors….””
