Gurney imprint, with their 1867 copyright notice, under Dickens image; verso with the Gurney device [purple ink stamp] in center [707 Broadway]. Image: 8.8 cm x 5.2 cm. Card: 10.5 cm x 6.3 cm. Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve. Slight bow to card, with modest wear & signs of handling, image generally sharp, with little yellowing. A VG [or slightly better] copy.

Nice period CDV of Dickens with the photograph affixed to stiffer card stock. Image shows Dickens formally dressed in coat & tie, seated, facing to the viewer's left.
