Johann Rudolf Fasch was a superior officer in the corps of engineers and architects in Dresden during the early eighteenth century.  His five part series Anderer Versuch Seiner Architect.... was published from 1722 through 1729;  each volume contains a title leaf, dedication, foreword, and twenty-five plates of designs for German estate buildings.  In Part IV, there are plans and elevations for a palace, a hospital for disabled soldiers, barracks, and more.  Fasch also published materials on mathematics and military science.  Anfangsgrunde der Fortification (n.d.) and Kriegs Ingenieur Artillerie und See Lexicon (1735) provided information on artillery, fortifications, and other military tactics.  Scarce.  Some occasional, minor smudging on margins, not affecting the illustrations, else very good
