The book is in good condition. The are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind. There is some light rubbing and wear to the outside boards. The front and rear free endpapers are missing. This is the deluxe version of the book, bound in three quarter leather with marbled boards and endpapers. 411 pages. This book is an early state of the first edition with the Franklin press imprint on the copyright page, however it has the later state corrections to the the text. There is some foxing throughout. A couple of pages have some wear to their edges. A rare early edition of Twain's classic work.
