A visually striking group of 19 original mid-20th century chocolate and candy wrappers from a range of European manufacturers, primarily German, Swiss, and Eastern European. Labels include Falkenpflug, Viktoria, Pliva’s, Wallis, Kwatta, and Union, among others. Most are printed in vibrant color with gold or metallic accents, typographic variety, and regional motifs such as alpine landscapes, crests, and cocoa pods.

These examples reflect the branding aesthetics and consumer culture of the postwar period, when chocolate was both a luxury good and a staple of mid-century design. Many wrappers show bilingual or multilingual marketing and distinct national identities through font, ornament, and layout.

A well-preserved set, likely collected by a packaging or design enthusiast. Together, they offer insight into European commercial printing and confectionery branding during a period of industrial recovery and export growth.
