Cloth backed color pictorial boards with some edge wear and a little soiling, especially in rear cover. Eight full colorplates and lots of black and white drawings for this quite inventive and inventive and interesting work centered around very early airships. Thompson has given us images of many of the early experiments in air travel for his will characters to enjoy. The animals are his usual rambunctious and energetic selves and they seem to have great fun tearing up their world. The ability to fly just gave them more opportunity to cause havoc.
